There has been so much going on since the last time I was able to get any information out about what is going on at Enlightened - and as always, things have been super busy - both with exploring new products, services, and having clients on the table.  

I hope you find this new format of receiving  a texted link to the news a less bulky option for your email.  I know that oftentimes the service I use to send emails is considered spam - and lands in an unseen box...or even worse, is automatically deleted.  I am hoping that this way, you will get what you need and feel as though you are in the know.

Introducing Moor Spa!

During slower times, I toil over finding quality products to use in the treatment room, offered by companies who align with my personal philosophies.  I have always tried very hard to ensure I keep my commitment to renewables and earth friendliness when purchasing products to use in-studio...down to the bamboo bath tissue.

At this time, I will not be carrying 'cash and carry' retail of Moor Spa products at the studio - BUT - if you find that you would like to  have me order something for you, I can certainly do that.   I also have several samples of the different lotions and potions that I use every day to share with you - if you would like to give something a try before you commit.

New Services

As I mentioned, I have created several new services that you can find on the Spa page here on the website.  These services range from a hand-focused treatment to a foot focused treatment, to a scalp treatment, and so many things in between.  With the addition of so many new items, I have bid farewell to a few that were created the day I opened my doors back on June 4, 2021.  But , I promise - these new ones are much more diverse and promise to deliver the ultimate in restorative table time.  I hope you take a moment to check them out.
I've also created a private baby massage class that focuses on easing baby's GI upset. This 30-minute session shares massage techniques to help colicky little-ones through their tummy troubles. Client Experience Survey 

Back in mid-February, I sent out a link for a survey.  Thank so much to those who took a few minutes to complete that.  It is that survey  that has guided my decision to send this update via texted link - because I learned that my emails to you are often landing in your spam or recycle bin. I'll make a true update on the survey results later this summer - that'll give those who didn't have a chance to complete it in February some time to submit their feedback.

Special Community Partnering - ConfiKids Fundraiser

This summer, Enlightened Wellness is proud to support ConfiKids—a local organization providing scholarships to children in grades 1–8 from low-income families, giving them access to sports, arts, and enrichment programs that build confidence and self-worth. From July 17 through August 16, 25% of the service price from our featured packages--The Unwinding  and Sculpt + Soothe—will be donated directly to ConfiKids. If those offerings don’t align with your current needs, you may also choose to add 10% to the price of any service, and that contribution will be passed along in full. Together, we can help ignite potential and open doors for local children who deserve every opportunity to thrive.

Wellness Journey Finds

Back in December of 2024, I started to discover my own wellness journey (do we ever really  stop?),  deciding to finally - hopefully once and for all - overcoming my seemingly endless battle  on the 'healthy lifestyle' hamster wheel.  I have explored so many things, from diet changes to incorporating supplements into my daily routine to even transitioning fully - both in business and personal space - to eco and health conscious choices.  So, during this journey I have discovered a few stand out things that I would like to share - and even got the opportunity to send along savings opportunities to you, in the event you would like to explore them for yourself.

BITE Toothpaste Bits
You may have seen Bite Bits  if you were rolling through Pinterest or the book of faces - once upon a time, they were doing a huge social media campaign - which is where I found them.  What caught my attention was #1 - no plastic!  These perfectly portioned bits of toothpaste come in a glass jar (completely recyclable), and you don't have to fight to get the last few squeezes out of the tube.  #2 - Bits are available in both Fluoride-Free and with Fluoride; charcoal bits, and even berry flavored for the kiddos (or kids at heart!).  #3 - Collapsible bamboo toothbrushes! Schedule is open for the remainder of 2025!

One of the things that stood out to me from the survey responses is the challenges you may be having in finding your preferred day and time for an appointment.  As a way to solve for that, I have opened up my calendar for the remainder of 2025 - to help you plan.  I know some do like to book several months in advance before leaving the office, but if you are the type who would rather do it at home over your morning coffee, you now have that option - right through the website/vagaro (my booking site).

Phew - I feel like I have just run a marathon with getting all this info together!  But, before I leave - I would be remiss if I didn't share my unwavering gratitude for you.  It is because of you that I have had the unimaginable good fortune to have celebrated my 4th anniversary of Enlightened Wellness back on June 4.  Every day I "count my lucky stars" that I am able to share the work that I love with the absolute best clients in the world.
